A former Cr mine located in sec. 22, T28N, R9W, MDM (assumed spot at center of the SE¼ sec. 22), 3.3 km (2.0 miles) ENE of Tedoc Mountain (coordinates of record), along Bear Gulch. A property in the Little Red Mountain group. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a Cr deposit. The ore body is lenticular in form. This deposit is at the S end of the Beegum Creek body, an irregularly exposed ultramafic belt that trends NW from Little Red Mountain into Trinity County. The exposed ultramfic rock is 3 to 4 km wide in the vicinity of Little Red Mountain. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 9 (Western Klamath Mountains).
