A Mn occurrence located in secs. 17 & 20, T23N, R9W (MDM), 0.7 km (2,300 feet) S of Dead Rabbit Lake (coordinates of record), and NW of Bowers Creek (on the crest of the ridge between Bowers Creek and Thomas Creek), on National Forest land (fee ownership). The Anti-Hitler is near the saddle NE of Beauty View Butte, at an elavation of 2,100 feet, in the central part of sec. 20. The Anti-Mussolina is at the top of Beauty View utte, about ½ mile SW of the Anti-Hitler, at 2,750 feet of elevation. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization at the Anti-Hitler is a siliceous manganese ore bed in manganiferous chert about 5 feet wide. Attitude is not evident, but beds are probably close to vertical and strike about N65W. The ore is bordered on the E by greenstone, which is bordered by serpentine. To the W is 100 feet of black to green, slaty shale and sandstone, bordered by serpentine. The ore is manganese oxides, mainly psilomelane cut by quartz veinlets. The Anti-Mussolina is comprised of 2 beds of manganiferous ore separated by 15 feet of white chert. The maximum thickness is 6 and 9 feet.The enclosing cherts strike N50 to 55W and dip 55 to 75NE. The chert is bounded by greenstone to the SW, then serpentine, and by greenstone to the NE. The ore is mainly manganiferous chert, mainly psilomelane. Some rhodochrosite veinlets are present. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 3 (Coast Ranges and Western Klamath Mountains).
