A former Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 30, T19N, R11E, MDM, 1.3 km (0.8 mile) W of American Hill, along the W canyon wall of Little Wolf Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. It is likely that this location is the same as the Alaskan Mine. Clark lists this mine as a placer mine.
Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include surface and underground openings.
