A placer Au occurrence/prospect located in sec. 25, T21N, R10E, MDM, 4.5 km (2.8 miles) ENE of Fir Cap (summit) (coordinates of record), on the W slope of Craycroft Ridge, on National Forest wilderness land (Roadless Area Review & Evaluation (RARE II) Area West Yuba Rare II Area) (located claim). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a recent gold-bearing gravel bench deposit. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
