A former Au occurrence/drift mine located in secs. 15, 21 & 22, T19N, R10E, 2.3 km (1.5 miles) NNE of Forest, in the headwaters area of the North Fork Oregon Creek, NW of Bald Mountain and ESE of Table Mountain (about 1½ miles N of Alleghany). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 5,000 meters. Clark states that this mine is a drift mine.
Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
Workings include underground openings comprised of an adit.
