Incorporated into the United Mines together with Ale and Cakes Mine and Wheal Cupboard in about 1780.
Poldory together with the now expanded United Mines was combined with the Great Consolidated Mines in 1861. The group, renamed Clifford Amalgamated Mines closed in 1870.
In the 1900s, Poldory formed part of Mount Wellington Mine that worked between 1923 and 1941 and again between 1976 and 1991.
