A former lode Au mine located in sec. 35, T32N, R6W, MDM (coordinates estimated; section projected), 1.9 km (6,200 feet) SW of Shasta, on National Park Service land (Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area). Property consisted of several claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in quartz diorite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 4 (Klamath Mountains and Northern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include surface and underground openings. Underground operations included an adit 20 feet long with a raise to surface. Surface operations included a 15 foot open cut.
Production was comprised of a small amount of milled rock.
