A former Cu-Pb-Ag-Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 17, T33N, R7W, MDM, 4.0 km (2.5 miles) WNW of French Gulch, on the divide between Right Fork French Creek and Scorpion Gulch. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Alternate coordinates provided: 40°43'03"N, 122°40'43"W.
Mineralization is a Au-bearing vein hosted in the Bragdon Formation (siltstone-shale). Local rocks include carboniferous marine rocks, unit 4 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings.
