A former lode Au mine located in secs. 6 & 7, T32N, R5W, MDM (coordinates estimated), 1.7 km (5,700 feet) SE of Minnesota, on the lower SE slope of Democrat Mountain. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is an ore body at 1.22 meters thick. Several vuggy quartz veins contain gold. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 4 (Klamath Mountains and Northern Sierra Nevada).
Workings consist of short adits and drifts.
