A former Au-Cu-Fe mine located in secs. 10 & 11, T32N, R6W, MDM, 1.2 km (3,900 feet) SSW of South Fork Mountain (coordinates of record), near White Rock Gulch, on National Park Service land (Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area). Property consists of 1 claim. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Coordinates estimated; sections projected.
Mineralization is a deposit with an ore body striking E and dipping 80N. The ore carries 0.5% sulphides. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 4 (Klamath Mountains and Northern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings consisting of a 40 foot adit and a 20 foot deep shaft.
