A Cu occurrence/prospect located in sec. 4, T36N, R1W, MDM, 2.1 km (6,800 feet) SSW of Oak Mountain (coordinates of record), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in andesite and basalt. Green Cu minerals stain fractures a few inches wide in meta-volcanic rock. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 5 (Northern Sierra Nevada and Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Workings include surface and underground openings. The underground operations are 48.77 meters in length and include 2 adits at 130 and 30 feet long, respectively. Several cuts and trenches failed to find ore.
