A former lode Au mine located in secs. 17 & 20, T31N, R6W, MDM (coordinates estimated), 2.6 km (8,600 feet) NNW of Petty Butte (coordinates of record), and 4.0 km (2.5 miles) NW of Igo. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granite. The ore body is tabular at a thickness of 0.38 meters and a length of 21.34 meters. There are 2 parallel ore veins 150 feet apart in granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 5 (Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 440 foot adit.
