A former Au mine located in sec. 26, T36N, R6W, MDM, 6.6 km (4.1 miles) NNW of Dog Creek Mountain (coordinates of record), on National Forest land. The MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body is tabular in form, strikes NW and dips 45W at a thickness of 0.91 meters and a length of 30.48 meters. There is one vein on the claim. Some high grade ore was found. Local rocks include carboniferous marine rocks, unit 4 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings consisting of a 100 foot lonmg adit and a winze at a 180 feet deep.
