A former Ca deposit/mine located in the SE¼SW¼SE¼ sec. 12, T5S, R5W, MDM, 6.4 km (4.0 miles) ESE of Montara Mountain, along the eastern slope of Cahill Ridge (western ridge of the San Andreas Fault system), on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).
