A former Pb-Ag-Cu-Au-Zn occurrence/mine located in sec. 17, T16N, R13E, SBM, about 5.4 km WSW of Mohawk Hill (summit), along the S margin of Mohawk Hill. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in limestone. The ore body is podiform, strikes N50E or N40W, and dips steeply. Ore bodies are discontinuous as irregularly distributed pods and veinlets. Controls for ore emplacement included fractures. Abundant Fe & Mn oxides occur here. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 2 tunnels, each over 200 feet long, 5 shafts from 20 to 60 feet deep, and numerous trenches and prospect pits.

Production data are found in: Goodwin, J.G. (1957): 679.

Two carloads were shipped in 1917. They carried 19 to 24% Pb and 5 ounces Ag/ton. The last shipment in 1942 contained 2.6% Pb, 3.34% Cu, 17.30 ounces Ag plus some Au. An earlier shipment in 1926 contained 25% Pb, 7.90 ounces Ag, minor Cu & Au.
