Devil's Den is a cave, about 80 feet long. The tremolite locality is reported to be in the vicinity of the cave. Using the USGS National Map lidar layer, the only bedrock outcroppings on the hill are on the SSE edge. The coordinates have been placed there, but need field verification.


Older references place Devil's Den and Mine Hill in the town of Chester. The town of Auburn separated from Chester and was incorporated in 1845.
