A spectacular beach, featuring the highest cliffs in Cornwall, amazing folded rock formations, a natural arch, and numerous other points of interest. A small amount of roadside parking is available on the nearby road, then it's a steep trek down winding pathways and steps to the beach. There's even a length of rope to hold on to at the bottom.

Because of the difficult access, the beach is relatively quiet, making it popular with naturists and surfers.

Water-worn mineralised veins containing quartz, siderite, and calcite, can be seen in some of the large boulders at the Northern end of the beach around the arch and beyond.
