A former Au occurrence/mine located in the SW¼NE¼ sec. 3, T32N, R47E, MDM, about 6.6 km NNE of Williams Well and 6 miles N of the summit of Lane Mountain. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in quartz monzonite. A gossan zone occurs along a fault contact. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Northern Mojave Desert and Southeastern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a shallow shaft.
