A former Au occurrence/mine located in the SE¼NE¼SW¼ sec. 21, T7N, R1W, SBM, 5.9 km (3.7 miles) WNW of Goat Mountain (coordinates of record) and 8.3 km (5.1 miles) WNW of West Ord Mountain (coordinates of record), along the northern margin of Stoddard Ridge (just W of the mouth of Traer Aqua Canyon). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in metavolcanic rock. The deposit consists of discontinuous veins. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 3 (Mojave Desert, Death Valley area, and Eastern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include surface openings comprised of pits.
