A limestone deposit located in sec. 5, T7N, R12E, SBM, 10.1 km (6.2 miles) ESE of the Old Dad Mountains (coordinates of record), N of Interstate highway 40, on the boundary line of the East Mojave Scenic Area. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
