A limestone-dolomite deposit located in sec. 5, T10N, R14E, SBM, 2.6 km (1.6 miles) S of Tough Nut Spring (coordinates of record), on Bureau of Land Management administered federal reservation land (Mojave National Preserve/East Mojave National Scenic Area). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Local rocks include Devonian marine rocks, unit 1 (Death Valley).
