A Cu-Au-Ag occurrence located in sec. 9, T11N, R1W, SBM, 1.4 km (0.9 mile) ENE of the Mud Hills (coordinates of record), along the northern margin of the hills. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
