A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in secs. 20, 21, 28 & in the NE¼NE¼ sec. 29, T14N, R1E, SBM, 2.2 km (1.4 miles) ESE of Godstone (site) (4 miles S of the S shore of Goldstone Lake). The property is comprised of 5 clainms. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. This mine adjoins the Merrick and Belmont Mines.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in schist, clay, mud and shale. The ore body strikes NW and dips 60NE. The vein is 2 feet thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Northern Mojave Desert and Southeastern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 110 foot shaft with 500 feet of workings on the 50 and 100 foot levels.
