A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the S½SE¼ sec. 19, T14N, R1E, SBM, 0.8 km (0.5 mile) S of Goldstone (site) (3.5 miles SSW of the S shor of Goldstone Lake). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in shale and quartzite. The ore body is irregular in form. Controls for ore emplacement included a fault. The shale is shattered and siliceous. The quartzite is sericitic. Siliceous veins occur through the fault zone. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Northern Mojave Desert and Southeastern Sierra Nevada).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of an incline more than 100 feet deep and several shallow pits.
