A W occurrence located in sec. 23, T14N, R15E, SBM, 6.6 km (4.1 miles) NNW of Drum Peak (coordinates of record) and 2.2 km (1.4 miles/7,000 feet) ESE of Brant (adjoins Garvanza), on the western margin of the mountains, on federal reservation land (Mojave National Preserve/East Mojave National Scenic Area). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in pegmatite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
