A former magnesite deposit/mine located in T11N, R14E, SBM, about 7 km S of Columbia Mountain (summit), ESE of Summit Spring and W of Wild Horse Mesa, along the eastern slope of the Providence Mountains, on federal reservation land (Mojave National Preserve/East Mojave National Scenic Area). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10,000 meters (sic).

Local rocks include Tertiary volcanic flow rocks, unit 16 (Northern Mojave Desert).
