A Cu-Au occurrence/claims located in the NW¼SE¼ sec. 8, T6N, R2W, SBM, 4.3 km (2.7 miles) SW of Sidewinder Mountain (coordinates of record), along the eastern margin of Fairview Valley, N of the Granite Mountains [1] (12 miles E of Victorville). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in limestone. The ore body strikes E-W and dips 80S at a thickness of 1.52 meters. Controls for ore emplacement
include a fracture(s). A 3 to 5 foot thick baryte vein occurs. Two other veins associated with epidote dikes strike N40W and dip 75NE, at 3 and 4 feetg thick, respectively. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 3 (Mojave Desert, Death Valley area, and Eastern Sierra Nevada) and/or Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 35 foot shaft on the first vein, plus open cuts and a crosscut tunnel.
