A former Au-Ag-Cu-Pb occurrence/prospect/mine located in the SW¼NE¼SW¼ sec. 28 & in the NE¼SE¼ sec. 33, T7N, R8E, SBM, 1.8 km (1.1 miles) N of Ragtown, 3 miles S of Ludlow, along the eastern margin of the Bullion Range. The property is comprised of 3 claims covering 60 acres. Discovered in 1932. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in dacite, andesite, & sedimentary breccia. The ore body strikes N and dips 30E at a thickness of 15.24 meters. The breccia zone is 30 to 50 feet thick and 600 feet long. Local alteration includes partial oxidation. Local rocks include Tertiary intrusive rocks (hypabyssal), unit 7 (Northern Mojave Desert).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of an open cut 50 foot long, 30 feet wide and 40 feet deep, plus a 100 foot adit driven W and a 60 foot adit driven S.
