A Pb-Ag-Cu-Au occurrence/prospect located in secs. 26 & 35, T7N, R5E, SBM, 1.5 km (0.9 mile) NW of Sunshine Peak (coordinates of record)(9 miles SW of Lavic). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in porphyry. The ore body strikes NW and dips 70NE at a thickness of 9.14 meters aND A Length of 14.4 meters. The vein consists of a mass of crushed and broken country rock along a fault fracture. Controls for ore emplacement included a fracture. Local rocks include Tertiary intrusive rocks (hypabyssal), unit 7 (Northern Mojave Desert).
Workings include underground openings with a length of 762 meters and an overall depth of 76.2 meters and comprised of 4 shafts at 85 to 250 feet deep, 2 tunnels at 105 and 310 feet in length.
