A former lode Au-Ag occurrence/mine located in the NW¼ sec. 20, T14N, R1E, SBM, 2.5 km (1.6 miles) SE of Goldstone (4 miles S of the S shore of Goldstone Lake). The property is comprised of 13 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. The reference places the claims in sec. 20, but the topo map indicates sec. 29.
Mineralization is hosted in schist. The ore body forms seams, strikes NW and dips 30-40NE at a thickness of 0.3 meter. Stringers and veins occur in a blet 2 to 12 inches (5 to 30 cm) thick. Diorite intrusion occurs on the E edge of the schist belt. Associated rocks include the diorite. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Northern Mojave Desert and Southeastern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of shallow shafts and a crosscut tunnel driven SW for 124 feet with 30 feet of backs, plus open cuts.

A small amlount of ore was produced in 1936. 33 tons of ore were mined, valued at $1,370.00 (period values) from workings S of the tunnel. The total amount of ore shipped amounted to $20,000 (period values).
