A stone (crushed/broken) deposit/quarry located in the SW¼SW¼SW¼ sec. 27, T12N, R1E, SBM, about 6.8 km E of Lane Mountain (summit), on Bureau of LAnd Management administered land. Owned & operated by the Calico Rock Milling, Inc. (100%), California (1990). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
NOTE: Special Publication 103 incorrectly lists this property in sec. 28. Location of this property was taken from the center of the quarry.
Local rocks include Mesozoic gabbroic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
Workings include unspecified surface openings; however, the USGS MRDS database file references a quarry as the reference point for the location of this operation.
