A W-Hg occurrence/claim located in T16N, R15E, SBM, about 9.1 km (5.6 miles) WNW of Nipton, on the Ivanpah Lake (dry) (??). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 5,000 meters. USGS MRDS database file #10040631 states that location given is to the center of the township. Actual location is probably to the W near/in the Clark Mountains.

Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
