A Cu occurrence/prospect located in sec. 21, T3N, R23E, SBM, 4.7 km (2.9 miles) E of Pyramid Butte (coordinates of record), in a designated wilderness area. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. No other information is available.
Mineralization is hosted in rhyolite. The ore body is irregular in a fissure. Controls for ore emplacement included the fissure. Seams and irregular masses occur in decomposed rhyolite. Local rocks include Precambrian igneous and metamorphic rock complex.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of an 80 foot inclined shaft and shallow cuts.
