A former lode Au-W occurrence/mine located in secs. 1 & 12, T13N, R1E, SBM, 10.3 km (6.4 miles) SE of Goldstone (site) (9.5 miles NNE of the summit of Lane Mountain). The property is comprised of 6 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters. Formerly mined only for Au.
Mineralization is hosted in limestone and schist. The ore body strikes NW and dips 80NE at a thickness of 0.61 meter. There are 5 parallel veins 1 to 2 feet (0.3 to 0.61 meter) in thickness. The hanging wall is limestone and the footwall is schist. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Northern Mojave Desert and Southeastern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of shafts at 85, 107 and 100 feet deep, plus a 165 foot drift on the 100 level and a 102 foot crosscut.

A small amount of W ore was produced in 1951. Several tons of ore were shipped.
