A Au prospect located in the SW¼SW¼SW¼ sec. 17, T7N, R21E, SBM, 7.5 km (4.7 miles) NNE of the Stepladder Mountains (coordinates of record), on the extreme NE margin of the mountains (western margin of the Chemehuevi Valley). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
