A former Au occurrence/mine located in the SW¼SW¼ sec. 31, T8N, R16E, SBM, 2.6 km (1.6 miles) ENE of Castle Dome (summit) (coordinates of record), along the eastern margin of the Clipper Mountains. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface and underground openings.
