A former Cu-Ag-Au occurrence/mine located in the SE¼NE¼ sec. 6, T17N, R13E, (sec. 11, T18N, R13E) SBM, 6.3 km (3.9 miles) SE of Mesquite Dry Lake (coordinates of record), in the southern end of Mesquite Valley, near the Nevada state line. Owned by Colosseum Mines Corporation. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. Note: The location provided in Professional Paper 275 (assigned location) does not agree with that indicated in the other references.
Mineralization is hosted in limestone. The ore body strikes NW and dips 40E at a thickness of 1.22 meters. The ore occurs in bedding planes along a NW fracture in limestone. The thickness varies from 2 to 4 feet. Local rocks include Devonian marine rocks, unit 1 (Death Valley) and/or Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include underground openings with a length of 121.92 meters and an overall depth of 60.96 meters and comprised of a 200 foot vertical shaft, 200 feet of drifts on the 100 and 200 foot levels.

Ore shipments were reported to have shown 10% Cu and 15 ounces Ag/ton.
