A former Cu-Au-Ag occurrence/mine located in sec. 29, T3N, R24E, SBM, about 7.2 km NE of Savahia Peak. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in schist. The ore body is 0.61 meter thick. A porphyritic dike carries the ore minerals. It is 1 to 2 feet thick and cuts schist. Local rocks include Precambrian igneous and metamorphic rock complex.
Workings include underground openings comprised of an 80 foot shaft with a 15 foot crosscut W to the vein at the 50 foot level.
Analytical data results: 5 to 10% Cu, $8 (period values) Au/ton.
