A former Ag-Cu occurrence/mine located in T6N, R4W, SBM, 1.4 km (0.9 mile) SE of Quartzite Mountain (coordinates of record), N of Victorville and W of Interstate highway 15, along the eastern margin of the mountain. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 5,000 meters.
NOTE: Despite the vague location of this locality, the USGS MRDS database file states that the ore body was the point of reference for the geographic coordinates.
Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
