A Pb-Ag-Au occurrence located in sec. 35, T13N, R10E, SBM, 4.6 km (2.8 miles) S of Seventeenmile Point. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
NOTE: The USGS MRDS database file presents MRDS file #10262150 as a related file; however, the data contained in the latter file is discrepant with regard to geographic coordinates (35.12721, -115.87364), T&R values (sec. 13, T12N, R10E, SBM), local rocks (Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 2 (SE California Carbonate Assemblage)) and references (Wright, L.A., et al (1953) & U.S. Bureau of Mines (1990)). The commodities are stated to be identical but the references are different with no crossover of references between the 2 files.
Mineralization is hosted in dolomite. The ore body strikes E and dips N at a thickness of 1.52 meters and a length of 91.44 meters. The deposit involves a siliceous zone in highly fractured dolomite. Local rocks include Plio-Pleistocene and Pliocene loosely consolidated deposits.
