A dolomite-magnesite deposit located in sec. 27, T6N, R4E, SBM, 4.3 km (2.7 miles) S of Iron Ridge (coordinates of record), along the southern margin of the ridge, on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

NOTE: The USGS MRDS database presents MRDS file #10036186 as a related file. It pertains to the nearby Fe mine of the same name.

Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
