A former limestone deposit/quarry located in sec. 4, T6N, R2W, SBM, 4.5 km (2.8 miles) WNW of Sidewinder Mountain (coordinates of record), along the NW slope of the mountain. Owned & operated by Southwestern Portland Cement Company (100%), Victorville, California (1981-1990 approximately). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Local rocks include Triassic to Cretaceous Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 3 (Mojave Desert, Death Valley area, and Eastern Sierra Nevada).
