A former Hg occurrence/mine located in the center N½ sec. 13, T15S, R9E, MDM, 2.6 km (1.6 miles; 8,400 feet) NW of Llanada, N of Panoche Creek. Discovered in 1941. Owned by Mrs. Frank McCollough. Idle since 1941. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in Late Jurassic sandstone of the Panoche Formation. The ore body is generally lenses and pockets and strikes N and dips E. Controls for ore emplacement included a local fault dipping 30E. Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).
Workings include unspecified surface openings.
