A former Hg occurrence/mine located in the E½ sec. 12, T15S, R9E, MDM, 3.7 km (2.3 miles) NNW of Llanada. Discovered in 1940. Operated during the periods 1940 to 1943 and 1949 to 1956. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in rocks of the Panoche Formation (Upper Cretaceous) (sandstone). The ore body is irregular. Controls for ore emplacement included an E-trending, N-dipping thrust. Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).

Workings include unspecified underground openings (the topo map reflects 3 adit symbols and 2 prospect pit symbols in this immediate area).
