A former placer Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 3, T7N, R8E, MDM, 0.9 km (3,100 feet) ENE of Bridge House (locale) and 8.2 km (5.1 miles) E of Cosumne, along the Cosumnes River, on private land. This locality is evident on topo maps as an area of dredge tailings. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
