A former stone (crushed/broken) deposit/pit located in sec. 30, T8S, R2W, SBM, 5.0 km (3.1 miles) SSE of Temecula, along the E side of Rainbow Creek. Owned & operated by North County Sand and Gravel (100%), California (1990). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 2 (Peninsular Ranges).

Workings include unspecified surface openings (the USGS MRDS database file infers a pit in its title).
