A former Au-Ag occurrence/mine located in the SW¼NW¼NW¼ sec. 7, T2S, R20E, SBM, the Arica Mountains (6 miles S of Rice). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. Now a claim of the Lum Gray Mine.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in limestone and granite. The ore body strikes N70W and dips 65S at a width of 1.22 meters. The ore occurs at the contact of the limestone and the gneissoid granite. The hanging wall is limestone. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 1 (Mojave Desert and Death Valley area).

Workings include unspecified underground openings comprised of a tunnel driven NE 100 feet and a winze sunk on the vein 200 feet at a 40 degree incline.

The ore was reported at $12 (period values) Au/ton.
