A former limestone deposit/quarry located in the NW¼NW¼ sec. 27, T5S, R23E, SBM, 6.0 km (3.8 miles) SW of Black Point (coordinates of record). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

The rock is more like travertine. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings include unspecified surface openings (the topo map reflects 1 open cast mine/quarry symbol labeled "quarry" at this point).

Marl has been cut for dimension stone.
