A former clay deposit/mine located in the SE¼ sec. 6, T2S, R4W, SBM, 2.2 km (1.3 miles) WSW of Grand Terrace (center), along Interstate highway 215 at exit 37 (La Cadena Drive), just N of the Riverside County line. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
NOTE: This locality is assigned a MAS-MILS file number in the Riverside County sequence; however, it is apparently in San Bernardino County. Several features on the topo map, just E of this point, may be a clay pit and related features.
Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include unspecified surface openings.
