A Au-quartz occurrence/located claim/prospect located in sec. 20, T22N, R7E, MDM, 0.2 km (500 feet) N of Little Marble Cone, along Kellog Ravine and in the headwaters area of Deadman Gulch, on National Forest land. Examined for Bureau of Mines MLA RARE II Study of the Middle Fork Feather River. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Local rocks include Permian marine sedimentary rocks, unit 2 (Northwestern Sierra Nevada).
